Columbus, OH – April 2, 2025
On March 27th, over 50 women and girls gathered at CoHatch Polaris for Bloom Through It, a one-of-a-kind mother-daughter mental health experience presented in partnership with the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County (ADAMH). This inspiring evening brought together community leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, and families for a transformative night of connection, storytelling, and healing-centered engagement.
In alignment with ADAMH’s mission to prioritize mental wellness and remove stigma around emotional well-being, Bloom Through It created space for women and girls to "bloom through" the hardships they’ve endured—especially those magnified since the pandemic. The event echoed insights shared by ADAMH’s Dr. Delany Smith, who noted in a recent article that “the pandemic brought out a lot of messaging around how it's OK to not be OK,” opening the door to new conversations about mental wellness and resilience.
The event featured:
A soul-centered keynote delivered by Tanya Fisher and an intimate panel led by Micah Morgan on identity, healing, and the emotional labor women often carry in silence.
Spoken word by mental health advocate Jordan Harris, whose performance was deeply rooted in emotional truth.
Live harp performance by Prince David, creating a spiritual atmosphere that anchored the evening in peace and reflection.
The night also spotlighted A Seed Into A Flowher, a journaling brand designed to help girls and women explore emotional health and personal growth. This offering brought an additional layer of self-guided healing, aligned with the event’s mission to leave attendees with lasting tools for their journey.
Every detail of the evening was powered by the hands and hearts of women. From Maria Scott’s leadership over the VIP experience to Tomica Livingston’s role in event direction and Serena Hardy’s thoughtful décor, Bloom Through It was a testimony to what women can build when they lead with purpose and collaboration.
Hosted by Women Just Like Me, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating healing spaces for women and girls, the event was a reflection of the kind of community resilience that ADAMH continues to invest in. In a time where ADAMH continues to advocate for both treatment and prevention, Bloom Through It served as a reminder that healing happens in community—and that together, we can grow through anything.
